Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound calls from Florida Medicaid providers and address inquiries promptly.
  • Document interactions in the database and route calls to the appropriate teams.
  • Maintain professionalism in a high-volume call center environment.
  • Answers telephone and respond to basic customer questions and/or forwards to appropriate personnel and provides consultancy utilizing knowledge and expertise on insurance and healthcare.
  • Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Update account histories with call results and proper documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members and management on customer service issues.
  • Recommend improvements to procedures and workflows.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to type and talk simultaneously while navigating multiple screens.  
  • Must maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.  
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.  
  • Preferred: 2+ years of customer service experience.  
  • Experience in a metric-driven environment.  
  • Strong customer service skills with effective written and verbal communication.  
  • Proficient in PC use and basic Microsoft Office.
  • 100% attendance during training.

 

Work at Home Requirements:

  • High-speed Internet via wired ethernet connection, no Wi-Fi, Satellite or Cellular Hotspot or Cellular Internet.
  • Upload speed of 5 Mbps; Download speed of 50 Mbps
  • The Internet service provider (ISP) must be highly stable with 1% or less packet loss Latency under 100ms.
  • All Hires must have an available cell phone or tablet and be able to install our required 2FA software for Multifactor authentication on that device.
  • Qualfon will provide all or some of the equipment needed based on the employees' request.
