Overview

This job oversees all of our call center Agent hiring for a key client based out of our Highland Park, MI facility.

 

As the talent acquisition leader, you will play an integral role within our team. Working in a collaborative and engaging environment, you will be responsible for managing a team of recruiters while building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders (both internal and external). The position is involved in staff planning, reporting, compliance, training, HRIS administration, community involvement, and community outreach.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic programs to provide quality candidates to the respective accounts as needed.
  • Serve as the recruiting subject matter expert and advisor to the organization for all staffing needs.
  • Provide input to ensure we consistently hire qualified individuals.
  • Ensure that staffing needs are being met with a long-term strategy in mind.
  • Devise and implement sourcing strategies for potential hires.
  • Ensure our end-to-end hiring processes are consistent for all applicants.
  • Form close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear expectations for candidates and interviewers.
  • Create job postings and interview questions to reflect the requirements of each position.
  • Maintain reports and present information in calls with clients, operations, and executive leadership.
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build pipeline of candidates interested in obtaining their property and casualty licenses.
  • Maintain records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork to share with key stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date on all branding guidelines and requirements to ensure all produced collateral from the recruiting teams meets branding standards.

Qualifications

  • Upbeat, enthusiastic, and ready to make a difference in the lives of others.
  • Ability to work in the Highland Park, MI office (required).
  • Minimum of 6 years talent acquisition experience required with at least two years’ experience managing a team.
  • Four years of call center agent hiring experience required with at least two years hiring for hard-to-fill licensed roles (i.e. Property & Casualty [P&C] insurance) preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local guidelines and regulations regarding interviewing, selection, pre-employment testing, tracking, reporting, and record keeping.
  • Proven success with using social media as a recruiting tool.
  • Experience with iCIMS Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Skilled with all Microsoft Office products (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to prepare and deliver training to recruiters
  • Skilled in coaching and developing employees to improve performance and outputs
  • Knowledge of sourcing and data mining techniques, including both active and passive candidate acquisition.
  • Skilled in identifying and communicating role requirements and expectations.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization with a dotted-line accountability.
  • Some travel may be required.
