Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.); plus 3 - 5 years of related training and experience in printing production operations.
- Language Skills
- Ability to read and analyze instructions, correspondence, memos, technical procedures and government regulations. Ability to write correspondence and reports. Ability to effectively communicate, present information and respond to questions from supervisors, customers and other employees of the Company. .
- Mathematical Skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.
- Reasoning Ability
- Ability to define problems and draw conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with multiple variables.
- Other Skills and Abilities
- Ability to prioritize daily work and projects. Multiple operational skills and individual flexibility are required to meet the needs of the business and customers.
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Valid vehicle operator’s license in state of residence.
- Physical Demand
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand and reach with hands and arms. Duties of the this job also require the employee to frequently stoop kneel, crouch crawl or lifts up to 50 to 100 pounds.
- Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment usually requires the use of hearing protection. While the plant is climate controlled, there may be times during certain weather events when the working environment may be colder or hotter than normal.
