Since 1985, Kramer Direct has been a leader in direct mail marketing, specializing in the senior insurance market. We generate high-quality leads for agents, FMOs, and carriers using proven methods backed by data-driven targeting. Now, we’re expanding with a new digital platform and self-service channels, and we’re looking for a Manager of Business Development to help lead the way.

 

About the Role


We’re seeking a driven and strategic leader who can accelerate growth across key verticals including Medicare, Life Insurance, Final Expense, and emerging digital marketing opportunities. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building relationships, creating new partnerships, and turning insights into action.

As Manager of Business Development, you’ll help shape our go-to-market strategy, develop acquisition plans, and guide the rollout of our new self-service platform, Kramer Konnect.

Full-time employees are eligible to receive paid time off (PTO) benefits based on the Company’s current paid time off policies and in accordance with applicable state law. All benefits are subject to any plan changes at the Company’s sole discretion.

 

Compensation: this position will be paid on a salaried basis with a pay between $70,000 - $80,000 annually depending on prior experience. This base pay is subject to all applicable statutory deductions and authorized withholdings as required by law. This base pay is also subject to any authorized deductions to contribute toward the employee’s portion of benefits premiums and/or 401(k) contributions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new partners across multiple industries through email, phone, social media, events, and direct outreach
  • Manage client relationships from first contact through campaign launch, ensuring smooth transitions and strong communication throughout
  • Use market data and business intelligence to uncover new opportunities and strengthen partnerships
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development efforts with company goals and industry trends

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably within insurance, direct mail, or marketing services
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a track record of new client acquisition
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and deliver measurable results in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools such as Salesforce
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field; 3+ years of relevant experience required, 5+ years preferred
